Is there a way to tell how many RSS subscribes I have?

I'm using RSS 2.0 and ATOM 1.0.
Is there a way to get some statistics?
Like how many subscribers per month?

Consider using Feedburner for your feed..... there is no fee for the service, and the service can track how many people are subscribed to your feed.

this is something that interests me too
i might take a look at it soon and post some plugin (or more probably patch/hack
) to have those stats
the problem that I am not sure how to solve is this:
actually how to track separate visitors
not all rss readers understand cookies etc
i might check only IPs for now ...

For the time be, I'm using Feedburner. Thanks for the tip.
I would be happy to test the plug-in you are pondering about
