editor and medieamanager within static pages

Hello,
I found out, that using the old (non-Wisiwyg) Editor within the static pages does not work properly.
If I highlight a phrase and press any button (like Bold), not the phrase is embedded into the bold tags, but the tags are added at the end of the entry.

Using the mediamanager within static pages has also a problem: After pressing the button, the mediamanager opens up and it is possible to choose a image, but after that it is supposed to open up a dialog to choose the formating settings from. This dialog is incomplete/missing.

Which browser? I believe this differs in IE, Safari and FF.

Incomplete, or missing? Which one?

Sorry just tested it and yes it differs. Both problems occur only while using Opera 9.52. It works like a charm in Firefox 3.0 and IExplorer 7.0

BUT: It also works with Opera 9.52 during normal blog-page editing

The dialogwindow after choosing the image is incomplete. It only displays "Sie haben sich für butterblume.jpg entschieden" but no radiobuttons.

Hi!

Looks like a javascript issue with opera to me, then. The window should issue a javascript command which seems to fail in Operas case.

I'm not an opera user, so I sadly don't know the specifics about their JS interface.

The only point I am wondering about is that it works in normal entries. So there must be a difference in the code.

Since normally static pages are not edited that much and we now know that it is a problem with opera, I would say the bug is not critical.
