file?
My ISP wont allow alias file editing but they do allow adding aliases via the admin page. I dont believe this will allow me to make my local MTA recognize an E-Mail adress to be responsible for s9y.
I can set up an alias email and have it forwarded to:
1. the primary site email address
2. root
3. smmsp ()
4. sshd ()
5. apache ()
6. mail (mail)
7. ensimrootmail
8. mysql
9. majordomo
10. ftp
11. MAIL-DAEMON
12 postmaster
13 site_blackhole
14 catch-all
In most setups,
# just add the following line to your "/etc/aliases" file:
#
# s9y: "|/path/to/mail2s9y.php [username] [password]"
is installation of mail2s9y possible w/out editing aliases

I don't know, but the options you listed all seem wrong. Best is you ask your System administrator and tell him what you're trying to do.
The other option is to use the POPFetcher Plugin by fredb86 / Jason Levitt. It will be put to our CVS before the 0.8 release, which is due Friday.

Garvin
