Can't embed YouTube (or others) to my blog

I want to insert a new entry to my blog, consisting an embeded object.
When previewing, I can see the text instead of the object.
Is there a different way to do this, maybe to use a plug-in?
Please help.

For example:

Be sure to a)If using the WYSIWYG editor, paste the text into your entry using HTML mode (button that looks like <>), and b) disable the NL2BR markup plugin for those entries.
