media files

Post by Guest »

First of all....I am new to blogging, so bear with me.

I just set up my blog on my site and i want to add media files from the web. How do I go about getting these files and having visitors post their replies?

I got serendipity from GoDaddy's hosting plan and I have already set it up and ready to go.

I need help!

Thanks
Brad

Hi!

You should go to your Admin suite, click on "Add media" and upload an image. The text there is verbose, you'll get it instantly.

Then you can create a new entry, and click on the "Media" link button. Then you can select your uploaded image to insert it into your entry. The text is is also verbose and intuitive. When you then publish your post (save the entry) the users readoing your blog can see the image and comment it.

All very easy. Just go explore :)

Unknown error occured, file not uploaded. Maybe your filesize is larger than the maximum size allowed by your server installation. Check with your ISP or edit your php.ini file to allow larger file size uploads.

This is an error on your hosting provider setup. Please talk to your ISP and ask him if Safe Mode is not properly enabled, file permissions to /tmp are bad or file_uploads are disabled.
