Contact Form Plugin Configuration

Hi,

Very new to Serendipity!

Most things are working very nicely. Followed the install and config advice carefully, and so am loving the app.

The only thing I can't seem to figure out is how to configure the contact form plugin. I'm either getting the permalink field URL wrong, or i'm getting something in the style config wrong.

I'm running the whole thing in a testbed at the mo, so I can polish the mechanics of the site before putting content in. The site will eventually be www.artofcomplaint.com

At the moment, its running as http://www.artofcomplaint.com/serendipity/

Hi!

As for your current install, I can see you are not using mod_rewrite.

Thus, when you configure the contact form plugin, the permalink you have to enter is:

/serendipity/index.php?/pages/contactform.html

for example. Then you can call that via:

http://www.artofcomplaint.com/serendipi ... tform.html

That's nailed it!

I had problems with mod-rewrite (for the pretty urls?) I have a question about that, but I think that question needs to go in Installation.

Top stuff. I'm becoming a big fan of this Serndipity....
