Membership Site with Serendipity (commercial software tip)

Hi everybody!
Copywriter Michel Fortin dropped me a note about software for running a
membership site. I will feature his post in my Blog carnival, tomorrow.
Michel is a big Wordpress fan and a fan of this software. When checking it
out, I found:
Serendipity Blog into a Membership site and charge some
hard cash.
There might be some free membership software solutions available, too.
I didn't check. I just was kind of happy to find S9Y on the compatibility
list.
