Hi,
I just installed Serendipity today, and so far it's pretty fantastic.
But -- I am not sure how to use the geotag plugin and can't find any documentation. I got the map working (
http://queenmichelle.com/ ) but I can't figure out how to actually tag the entries.
I appreciate any help you can give me!
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi!
Actually, when you got that far, you should only need to create a new entry. Then you should see at the bottom section an "Advanced Options" section where you can either enter latitude/longitude or pick a spot on the map.
It might be that you also need the event plugin "Extended properties of entries" to see the advanced options on an entry;but usually, that plugin should be automatically installed if required by anything else.

Thanks so much for your fast response Garvin!
I do have extended properties installed.
The only thing I have in the advanced options place is CustomField1, 2 and 3... nothing about lon and lat.
I have reinstalled this plugin twice.. any ideas?????????

Hi!
Having it installed twice can definitely impose a problem! Please delete one instance of it.
Also, are you using Firefox or IE? If using firefox, you should enable your JS/Error console to look out for errors. Often, if the geotag-plugin cannot load its javascript (because it's installed twice, or the path is not configured properly) you shoud see errors there.
