Nothing happens on pluigin installation

Hi,

I am trying to install plugins via the admin interface. A week ago or so everything was fine, but today nothing happens.

Apache error_log says:

Premature end of script headers: php5.cgi, referer: http://www.example.com/serendipity_admi ... e]=plugins

for me this looks like a timeout - but I have no possibilities to check deeper on the server, WHAT exactly happens (not root there).

is there anything wrong with the spartacus repository? As I understand things right, the plugin installer tries to contact the spartacus site?

How can I dig deeper to check, what the problem is?

Thanks!

Mr. Dog

Hi!

This is a interrim error message -- the real error is logged elsewhere, usuallly in the Apaches error_log file or a different CGI error log. You'll have to inspect that to see the trouble.

It might be a memory overflow, or a remote network connection failure...

Overload

yes, the server was quite overloaded and it also led to the sqlite "locked database" error - all kind of trouble because of a permanently overloaded server - I left the dreamhost server, quite disapponting experience, weeks of trouble.... just for the record ;)

I've been experiencing the same problem for two days now. I can't install new plugins nor can I update existing ones. It just tries to load the page and after about two minutes I get either a blank page or error 500. My server is far from being overloaded.

Hi!

The spartacus mirror, netmirror.org, is down.
