Fresh install - Cannot browse options on Admin page

Post by debug019 »

Hi i have been reading alot on the forum threads and i cant find the way to resolve my problem.

I have freshly installed 1.3.1 on my server running on cpanel. And it was successfully installed but still i have the same problem with most of the guys here wherein after you login to the admin control panel, and click any option it always resolves back to the login page. anyone please help.

thanks.

Hi!

Check if your cpanel server has PHP sessions properly enabled, and the PHP.ini setting for session.use_cookies enabled, and your PHP temp directory is writable.

In 99% of all cases this happens because the PHP sessions are not properly configured/enabled.
