Blocked from posts and edits

I'm new to this and a bit technically inept and after doing my original post, although I was able to edit it once, all subsequent attempts to post or edit seem to time out with either nothing happening or after an extended period of time this error message:

Warning: sqlite_query() [function.sqlite-query]: database is locked in
/home/.wonderdog/gm/sites/gmwatch.eu/www/include/db/sqlite.inc.php on line 229

Error: Entries were not successfully inserted!

Any ideas how I can stop this happening?

Hi!

It seems that somehow the database file got corrupted or closed, maybe because of a PHP failure. Which PHP version are you using?

You might need to use a SQLite Manager/Tool to open/insppect the database file (inside the root directory of serendipity) to repair it.

I'm sorry that this has happened, I've actually never heard of such an error in the past years!
