Greets,
I am somewhat new to the RSS side of things.
I would like to include the headlines from my blog to another page on my site.
I suppose this would be done with using RSS but not sure about that.
Can someone point me in the right direction to achieve this.
I searched but did not see what I am looking for.
Many thanks,
Mr. Ree

Re: RSS Confusion
Hi!
You can do that, but the place where you want to show that needs a RSS client. Serendipity offers this in the form of a sidebarplugin "Remote RSS feed".
If you want to do something on a custom PHP page, you need to get yourself familiar with parsers like Onyx or MagpieRSS.

Garvin

Hi!
If you want to show your own RSS feeds inside your blog, you can use the Remote RSS feed plugin.
IF you want to show your entries on a page NOT inside the blog, the plugin will not be useful to you, because serendipity is not executed. On those pages you need to add your own PHP code.
Regards,
Garvin

Ah. I often forget about this one. Yes, that's a workable alternative.judebert wrote:I thought we were recommending the Javascript Recent Entries plugin for showing our entry titles on a page outside the blog?
