Publish option missing?

I've had something weird happen where my publish option is now missing. I can save entries as Draft but not publish them. Where in the database or php files would I find this so I can fix it?

Hi!
Check your personal preferences if the option "Allow publish" is enabled. If you're still the admin user, go to the User Managemant, where you can set Allow Publish to 'yes' again.
