administration suite problem

Hello all,

I'm not sure if this is an install issue or not.....

I completed the install but I'm having an issue in the admin panel. I've been attempting to install an event plugin, spartacus, but when I click on the install button, I bounce back to the part of the original installer that asked if you want the simple install or the advanced install. I thought that maybe the install didn't complete correctly so I downloaded S9Y 1.2.1 and did a new install. That didn't resolve the issue. Could there be an issue with my host?

That'S strange, I've never seen/heard of that before!

So your usual installation works fine, you can write and post entries? And you only see the installer when you want to install a new plugin?

Yep! That's exactly what was happening. Today, however, it seems to be working okay. I have no idea what the heck was going on.

I'll do some testing over the next couple of days to ensure it's working okay.

Well, it's been a couple of days since the install and all seems to be okay now. I have absolutely no idea what was going on there for a couple of days. Maybe a database glitch?

I was having a similarly weird problem with markup a few days back. Probably not Serendipity's fault, but a real hair-puller nevertheless.
