Question to the implementation of Mouseover effect on Images

Hello,

I really love the implementation in Serendipidy that you can go over a smaller image to let the Original size automaticly view beside the cursor.
But there is one thing that bugs me a little:

If the picture is at the very end of the page , the mouseover original picture is shown below the end of the page, so you need to first scroll the blog up as high as it finally fits.

Is'nt it possible to make the picture shown completely, independant where you place the mouse over ? I guess it could be easy done with a css command, but i'm not that pro to figure that out.

Thanx in advance!

PS: I don't want to use something like Lightbox if this comes to your mind

Hi!

Uhm, of which mouseoverimplementation are you talking about? The lightbox one? I actually don't remember having seen what you describe anywhere, do you have an example URL?

Garvin

Thank you for your answere. This link describes the best what i mean: http://www.p2p-pauschale.de/1/Nach-dem- ... AA-11.html
there is no lightbox effect. It just shows the original picture when you hover over the thumbnail. (btw. I don't know from what plugin this comes, it was just there and is pretty neat ;-) )

Now what i want is that if the picture is at the bottom of the page, the big picture should be visible, indipendently how far deep the original thumbnail is.

Hi!

You are using the "overlib" plugin to achieve this effect for onmouseover.
This is an external library, so you would need to ask the overlib makers if it is possible to "fix" that bug, then we can use the new version of it to put into the serendipity plugin.
