I'm new to blogs, but comments seem like a basic function to me. I had some trouble with the comments in the first place until I figured out that the automatic installation did not create the APPROVE and DELETE folders. So I created them. Then the comments worked. All of a sudden, they don't work again. You can add comments all day and they don't show up. I get the notification for them, but they don't show. If I turn the moderation ON, then I get the email and APPROVE the comment and... I guess it goes to Internet Hell, I don't know, but it doesn't show up on my blog.
The APPROVE and DELETE folders are still there, I don't know of anything that has changed that should affect them. I installed some plugins to see what they were. Uninstalled some of them again.

Re: comments don't post
Hi!
Pleasetry not to crosspost to the SF.Net bug tracker and the forums; one of them is sufficient because it creates extra work for us.
This is what I wrote in the SF.net tracker:
Hi!
It would ease up things if you could maybe post your URL here?
'approve' and 'delete' are only virtual directories. They do NOT need to
be created. They are dynamically routed through the URL Rewriting method
you configured (Apache Errorhandling or mod_rewrite).
If comments do not get through, this usually means they are blocked by
anti-spam measures.Did you install the anti-spamplugin? Remove it and test
if commenting works then. if it does, you know you must configure the plugin
differently. Maybe you enabled the 'emergency moderation' feature, which
means all comments get blocked.
Have you checked the "Comments" section of your admin panel, if there are
comments that show up as moderated?
Regards,
Garvin
