translation - swedish

(this may not be the correct place to post this question, my apologies in that case)

I've just converted one of my blogs to 0.8-beta2 (with varying levels of success, it's up and running now anyway  ), and re-started the translation.

What's required to make S9Y show the language I'm translating to, to show up in the language-selection menu (admin)? I can't get it to show there. The file is named properly, etc.

I modified the configuration database directly, and that's how I'm using it right now..

You need to edit your serendipity_config.inc.php file and look at the $serendipity['languages'] array, where you need to add your language :-)

How cool; I never could get this to work in 0.7.. OK, I'll keep translating then :)

Dear Garvin,

Could we have a combo box in the FIRST page of install to change language to desired language??

an end-user that download s9y from web, don't have any information about serendipity_config.inc.php and its contents :)

regards,
Omid

Oxygenws: No, we can't. We already have language auto-detection, so just setup your browser correctly and you won't need the dropdown on the first page. :-)
