Problems Embedding G2

I am pretty sure I am doing something dumb, but I'll ask anyway
Installed G2embed and set it thus...
G2 Directory = /home/content/m/c/a/mcamphoto/html/gallery/
G2 HTTP Path = /gallery/
S9Y embed name = /index.php?/gallery.html
URL shorthand = gallery
The website is blog.ashmoorephoto.com
When I try
http://blog.ashmoorephoto.com/index.php?/gallery.html
I get an unformatted page with no images, very wierd.

I have just had a thought.
The gallery is accessible as
http://gallery.ashmoorephoto.com as well as
http://www.ashmoorephoto.com/gallery
Would that be what is giving me grief?
In effect the gallery is a different domain name from the blog.

Hm,also the output stops right in the middleof the HTML! Do you have PHP errors enabled?
SadlyIknowlittle ofthegalleryconfiguration, so it could be that the domain vs. subdirectory configuration creates the trouble with invaliddirectoy lookup, because galleryis not accessible on
http://blog.ashmoorephoto.com/gallery/!

I have chopped the site config about so that now the blog is at
http://www.ashmoorephoto.com/blog
I will see how that works.

OK, after doing all that, the link now works, so that
http://www.ashmoorephoto.com/blog/index ... llery.html
now brings up the gallery
Except that it is not embedded
I'm getting closer and learning more about this all the time!

more info..
while the main gallery page is not embedded, neither is the sub-album page, but the photo page itself does get embedded. so...
http://www.ashmoorephoto.com/blog/index ... OISSES_PMT
seems to work.
