Make it so a User Can post but not Edit

At the moment I am working on making an Anonymous Blog. As part of this I want just one user account that can post but not edit the posts they make. Any idea how I could do this?

Hi!

This is sadly not possible. The user who created a posting can always edit it, this is conceptual.

It would require "edit" privilege separation, but to not bloat serendipitys privilege system and this is usually not required in a blog environment, adding this feature is not planned.

HOWEVER, have you thought about using the plugin "Suggest entries"? Then authors can suggest entries that are published by authors.

Also the plugin "User Self-Registration" can allow people to add themself to your anonymous blog, but they would still have their own useraccount and be able to only edit their own posts.
