Internal Server Error

After installing serendipity, I get an internal server error. I think this has something to do with mod-rewrite. How do I bring up the installation pages again, so I can de-select this option on install.

p.s. can't seem to find an .htaccess file so can't just delete this to solve the problem

What files do I have to copy across to allow me back into the installation screen?

Hi!

You can delete the .htaccess and serendipity_config_local.inc.php files. You might also need to delete your serendipity_* DB tables that were already created.

Eventually found the .htaccess file and deleted it. But before doing so, i dropppped the database tables. Now when i go to the serendipity page I get a query failed error.

So I want to bring up installation pages, so I can create the db tables again .Unfortunatley I can't seem to bring up the installation wizard. I tried doing as suggested but still can't see the installation pages. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Did you read what I wrote about serendipity_config_local.inc.php? :)
