Gallery2 Embed: problems with the add comment block

I thought I should create a new post on this, since my installation / configuration issues are resolved.
I was wondering if anyone has the gallery2 comment module installed, and if they have the <add comment> block working via Gallery2Embed?

If I open the following gallery within s9y,
http://www.crankynstinky.com/blog/index ... _itemId=39

I see my page embedded just fine. If I select any item in the gallery, the page jumps out of s9y, and is an incomplete page with a broken add comments box.

Going to the same page outside my s9y,
http://www.crankynstinky.com/gallery2/m ... _itemId=39
and clicking on the same object, the page renders fine.

I have 2 questions;
1. Is this a problem that's isolated to my install? Does this work for anyone else? (since I did already have one url related issue, I wonder if it's related)
2. Is this a bug with Gallery2 embed, or a bug with the add comment code that I would need to resolve inside of my gallery code?

I'm more likely to think it's an embed problem, since it's fully functional outside of embed, but maybe it's using a different code branch when embeded... I'm not exactly a php / java developer, so that could be a stretch. I appreciate any and all comments, suggestions, work arounds.
Thanks,
Aaron

Hi!

Check the HTML source of the output - it stops right in the middle!

Check your server's PHP error log, I bet there'S some PHP fatal error happening.

Unfortunately It's in a shared hosting environment, so I have to ask the service provider to get me those logs or the pertainent data.

Which I'm not sure I'll be able to gain access to them. (just checked my support ticket) and they said they do not see any error messages. :(

Do you have this working in your own environment? :)

Also you should add some cheaper items to your wish list (the dollar doesn't go as far as it used to).

Hi!

I don't use gallery, so sadly I can't check that for you, I'm sorry.

But if the output stops righti n the middle, there must be some sort of error. Maybe the PHP error_reporting would need to be raised, or the error_log option be enabled...

Hehe, that's hard, because there are few cheap things I'm currently interested in. I don't hear music a lot, and I already have about 15 books in my unread-queue, so I don't want to add new ones to the list :-D But much appreciated... ;)

Best regards
Garvin

follow up.

I've still had no luck tracking this down from either end. I asked in gallery2 land and no one knew anything. I'm hoping someone on here has it installed and working, and I'm just missing something... or have a plugin that's conflicting. Anyone using the gallery2embed plugin with the add comment module activated?
Thanks
