Gallery2 Embed: configuration / installation problems.

I'm having a problem trying to get the Gallery2 Embed plugin working.
These are the settings I've got:
When I go to
/blog/index.php?/gallery2.html
I get the following error:
Fatal error: Undefined class name 'galleryembed' in /home/cranky/www/www/blog/plugins/serendipity_event_g2embed/serendipity_event_g2embed.php on line 110
This is on Serendipity 1.2, using gallery 2.2.x (I can't find the old alpha release called for in the plugin)
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? or suggestions?
I think I've tried every combination of entries in the configuration boxes. It'd be great if there were some instructions, or maybe a sample...
Thanks
Aaron

Hi!
Your settings are acutally wrong.
The systems directory must by something like /home/pages/www/gallery/.
The HTTP Path must be somthink like /gallery/
Then it should work, hopefully

First off, Thank you for the extremely quick response.
I changed the settings to this:
Now when I go to:
http://www.crankynstinky.com/blog/index ... lery2.html
I don't actually get anything, no errors, but no gallery either. I end up at the default home with nothing selected. I'm now wondering if this a problem with my gallery settings? Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Aaron

Hi!
Hm, seems as if the permalink is not yet really behaving. When I access the "backhand compatibility URL" with
http://www.crankynstinky.com/blog/index ... ]=gallery2 it seems to work.
Maybe you can try to enter a permalink like "/blog/index.php?/pages/gallery2.html" instead, maybe that makes a difference?

Garvin - That worked. Thank you very much. I can't say enough how helpful you have been. This is only one of the many reasons why choosing Serendipity over (WP, or something more main stream) is the right choice.
Now, I need to actually make my gallery look good, but that's not your problem. Have a good weekend.
Cheers!

Actually I lied. It appears while it embeds just fine, but when I try to open an image, it goes back to the main page.
You can see what I mean, here:
http://www.crankynstinky.com/blog/index ... lery2.html
Just click an image, and you'll know what I'm talking about.
I think I read about this when I was researching my first problem, but don't exactly recall what it was.
Thanks again,
Aaron

Aaron,
It is looking just fine from here.

You are correct. I believe the step I took was to disable mod rewrite. However I hadn't clicked f5 after doing to, in testing the option.
I appreciate the over the top 'customer' service, you guys are the greatest.

One more question.
I don't seem to be getting xif data, comments, or the add comments box. I'm wondering if this is part of the embed config, as it seems to work outside of s9y. I apologize if I'm hounding you guys.
Thanks again,
Aaron

I do not see the exif info in
gallery2 itself. It seems like the photo does not have any exif data in it, this could be due to resizing or using a odd program to edit the photos.
Your test photos (from before) had exif data in them, these ones do not that I can see.

Zac - You are correct, they are missing from that set. I added a second album, to get a better pool, and exif is working mostly. The detail button doesn't work. But that's not a big deal.
Any idea on comments? I know I have to be logged in to see them in the normal gallery page. I'm trying to get a better understanding of the gallery2 admin console, but it's not easy. Thanks for the help.

Well, I'm having odd results to say the least. I think the problem is a bug, or incompatibility with the comment code in gallery itself.
After editing the gallery to allow everyone to see / add comments, making sure the Add comments, and show comments blocks were visible in the photos page.
The photos page appears to 'hop' out side of the blog when you go to it. The add comment box does not appear. If I disable add comments, it returns to normal. I'm guessing it's a bug in the add comments code. I don't think it's a theme issue since I've tried alternate themes and saw the same behavior.
Thanks for all the help.
