Back up failure

Post by Geo »

Hi

I'm getting multiple erors like this:

Warning: fopen(/home74c/sub001/sc42056-XVCK/backups/tmp/last_backup/2007-11-09-17-03_CREATE_serendipity_access.sql) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /mounted-storage/home74c/sub001/sc42056-XVCK/www/plugins/serendipity_event_backup/serendipity_event_backup.php on line 431

Does it mean I don't have permissions to write to a particular directory?

Thanks

Typically s9y needs to be able to write to the plugins, templates, uploads, and templates_c folders.

What happens when you use spartacus is that the list of plugins/templates is written to your templates_c folder, but of course the actual plugin/template needs to be written to the respective folders. Change the permissions on plugins and templates and everything should work again.

Thanks Carl, I tried changing all permissions with no success; I was able to do a backup via the host CP tho.
