I am wondering how to set a default "home" page in the Bullet Proof Style please?

I am wondering what you mean by "default 'home' page"? The home page of your blog is
http://www.fixsydneytaxis.net/, right? Just assign this URI to the link 'Home' using the customizable navbar in the theme options (i.e. "Manage Styles" in the admin backend).
That's it, or do I misunderstand what you want to do?

I have configured the "home" page as you have suggested which works fine. What I am looking for is when a new person accesses the site for the first time, the "home" page is the one that I want them to see.

You would have to use smarty to test for an existing cookie/session, I've had this working in the past, I used it on a template I did for another user in combination with the Hemingway template, unfortunately I don't have that template any more so I can't offer much more help than to say it can be done, quite easily actually, but you're going to have to visit the smarty forums and search for information on smarty session variables. You might even find the thread I started about it, again I don't have the URL for it, it's been a long time since I last logged into those forums.

Hi!
You can simply install the "Static page" event plugin, create a custom page that you want to use as homepage and then enable the option "Display as frontpage"?
