Manage media documentation page missing

Post by jbq »

This link in Posting a Blog Entry does not work: http://www.s9y.org/index.php?cmd=newdoc ... refnode=39

I'm looking for documentation about associating blog entry with media.

In fact, I noticed that when using the WYSIWYG editor, the media selector is not displayed! That's definitely a bug I think... or at least there this deserves to be properly handled in the personal settings.

Hi!

You should have a media selector button next to the usual image button. Can you take a screenshot?

With WYSIWYG editor:

Without the WYSIWYG editor:

Powered by Serendipity 1.2 and PHP 5.2.4

So I guess I have to copy/paste the image URL from the media library to the editor when using the WYSIWYG editor.

Hi!

please make a full screenshot. The position of where the buttons are shown are within the HTMLArea WYSIWYG editor panel.

If you have no buttons there, you might either not have completely uploadde the htmlarea/ subdirectory properly, or are maybe using a language that is not supported by htmlarea (spanish is known to cause some problems)

Regards,
Garvin

Thanks Garvin, indeed there is an extra button in HTMLArea called "Manage media". This was not obvious at first glance, would be nice to mention in the documentation, unless I overlooked it.

Keep up the good work!
