Captcha- and comments question

Post by holysjit »

Hi, im using the Andreas08 theme on my website (http://www.thejokersweblog.nl/)

I have two questions:

1. The plugin 'Latest comments' has a small problem. Words in the first box will display like this: 'funn y' and 'm ail'. How to solve? I think it's something with wordwrap...

2. The captcha won't show. This is a screenshot from my configuration of spamblock:

Thanks for ur time...

Hi!

1. Yes, this happens because wordwrapping is done hardly after X characters. Try to inrese the wrodwrap char amount in the plugins config.

2. Captchas are not shown to registered authors. (see your second configu option)

It looks like his captchas are enabled after 7 days. However, I just looked at one of his entries from early October, and no captchas are displayed, and I am not a registered user of his site..... so it must be something else that is preventing captcha display. Unfortunately, I have no recommendation on what to check.

Hi!

I saw a ReCaptcha on one of his old entries!

ReCaptcha requires enabled javascript, maybe that was your problem?

Same here. Removing recaptcha must have taken care of the problem.

If you have not changed your settings since you posted a screenshot, you set captchas to be enabled after 7 days.... so a post needs to be at least 7 days old AND you cannot be logged in to see them. you can change the number of days to 0 if you always want them on... but again, only for those who are not logged in.
