Redirect to s9y

Post by Zirbelholz »

I want to redirect my old blog URL (www.margaret-marks.com/Transblawg) to http://transblawg.eu and I can't get it to work.
I already posted a query at the provider's website. But maybe it has to do with the way s9y is loaded. I can't seem to connect to a subdirectory.

I have 3 domains - one is the one I am going to drop eventually, with the redirect, the other two point to the same server. http://mmarks.eu works, and http://transblawg.eu somehow - through ht. access I suppose? - gets the weblog up.

How is it that transblawg.eu reaches /webseiten/serendipity?

TIA

Please ignore this query. I had to add a file ht.access on the top level with the content
redirect permanent www.margaret-marks.com/Transblawg http://transblawg.eu

This only worked on the top level. If I put it in an empty /Transblawg directory, there was a 404 error page and the browser had two double slashes in the address.
