Hi,
I'd like to ask if the new version 0.8-whatever is already ready to be tested, specially for upgrade purposes or does it just provide a pure installation currently.
Regards, Thomas

It should already run smoothly and is upgradeable from previous versions. However you're suggested to upgrade from a stable release (0.6, 0.7, 0.7.1) to 0.8, because updating frmo 0.7-rc2 (with -XXX letters) or others currently is not working properly. Upgrading from any previous 0.8 alpha is a whizz, though.

Is it worth to update the live system already to 0.8 or not?
Don't know how far the current development has already grown. Can I take one of the latest sbapshot files for?

I for one am running 0.8 for my live system already and feel it's quite stable. The recent snapshots should work properly!

You state that upgrading from any previous version of .8 to a newer snapshot is easy. Where exactly can I find the instructions to do this. I cannot seem to get it accomplished.

I've recently upgraded from 0.7.1 to 0.8-alpha13. The upgrade was a doddle, and I've not come across any bugs yet, other than a small bit of debug output being left in the code which is now fixed. So unless your Blog is super-critical I'd be tempted to give it a go. The admin interface is a lot slicker and cleaner for one thing.
