How and where do I install: serendipity_event_linklist?
Also chmod permission?

serendipity_event_linklist should be installed automatically when you install the sidebar plugin. They are actually distributed together.

If you are using Spartacus, it is an easy install. If you are installing manually it is a little more complicated. Either way, I think they are both documented on the site (somewhere near here http://www.s9y.org/45.html#A7)

I'm not sure what you are asking about chmod...
