Scaling S9Y to a level of Userland's Manila...

Does anyone care to comment on:

a) whether there are installations of S9Y that scale to the level
of Userland's Manilla

b) whether there is development in progress to bring S9Y to
the level of Userland's Manila

Our quest is to have a platform for easy 'member' blog creation (on the fly), without separate installations for each and every blog.

Please advise.
