WYSIWYG editor

Post by rj »

I have spent a lot of time with both the default HTMLarea and FCK editor. I use FCK mainly because it has those CODE CLEANERS in it. I also recently noticed that it is FCK editor that adds to long load times. Woa Laaaa!

HTMLarea lacks a code cleaner. It also has not been updated since 2003 and it is said that it as too old to apply JS correctly with it has a few other issues I read about recently.

Perhaps we could find a new default small WYSIWYG editor?
Maybe? :)

BTW, I did a search on MOVING a blog back and forth between WP and SERENDIPITY. Just everyone who went from Serendipity to WP did so because their pals or topic blogsphere were using WP. Just about everyone who went from WP to Serendipity did so because they said it was easier to use and was coded far better.

Hi!
Perhaps we could find a new default small WYSIWYG editor?
Remember it needs to be BSD-license compatible.
