Can anyone please tell me what the two tables spamblocklog and referers are for (well, their names are telling, but are they ever read?), or at what times they are used? Is it safe to truncate them, i.e. delete all entries?

I checked the sizes of all my tables yesterday, and the size of the spamblocklog table was about 330 MB Is there an option somewhere to disable logging? I'm too busy right now to check myself, so if anyone could figure it out for me, I'd really appreciate it

spamblocklog is never read, only by users manually, like a logfile.

serendipity_referrers is used by the plugin "Top Referrers".

It is safe to truncate them. Yo ucan disable logging in the spamblock plugin. You can disable referrer tracking in the s9y config.
