Hi,
I use usergallery 2.41 with the thumbnail view. And it's really ugly if you got pictures in landscape orientation because the thumbnail pictures are stretched unnecessarily to a width of 110 pixels. This is fine in mediadatabase view, but I don't want to use this view, I'd like to see the thumbnail view to be fixed that it shows the portrait orientated pictures as properly as the mediadatabase view.
Have a look here: http://vollkorn.cryptobitch.de/index.ph ... urg-Dubai/
NB: If you choose to use a fixed width for the thumbnails every picture gets squared regardless of its proportions. Is this on purpose? I'd consider this as bug, too.
Cheers
Jan

I'd be willing to incorporate any suggested CSS changes into the plugin that would fix these problems, as long as they still allow the plugin the flexibility to change column sizes (with minimum impact to other template features, of course).
Please also remember that the plugin can be changed entirely by creating a custom template (or even just adding modified usegallery tpl files to a template you like). The default CSS is designed for compatibility, and is not likely to work for most people would like.
