i have serendipity embedded in our member site the member site is automatically creating an account for them in serendipity but i am having a problem getting them logged in automatically. i only want the user to log in one time and have full access. is there a way my member system can get them logged in automatically with out posting another login screen?

What is the other member software platform? Joomla, mambo, forum ???

That is a nice site, the dance site, is that what you are working on?

the member section is custom code on top of osCommerce. i am using there information in osCommerce to create the Serendipity account but i have not found a way to get the user logged in with out going to a log in screen. and yes this dance site http://www.forrestvance.com is my current project.

Hi!

Logging from foreign apps in is quite painful. Have a look at the serendipity_event_externalauth or serendipity_event_httpauth spartacus plugins.
