I put several returns after each paragraph to format nicely and they do not carry over to the live blog. I got help with some coding at some point, and it works for an entry or two then does not anymore. If you look at my blog, you may see this - 2 articles with returns, 2 articles without etc.

Linebreaks are only shown on the frontend if you use the "nl2br" event markup plugin, which is by default installed by serendipity?
