internet explorer 7 slow scroll

For some reason on my whowantsnews.com site, when I use internet explorer 7, the blog scrolls down very slowly like it is constantly loading something. Does anybody have any ideas or cure for why this is?

Hi!
This is caused because your selected template uses transparent background images. IE7 sucks at transparent images and is pretty slow dealing with them.
Choosing a different template (or using a different browser *oops*) should fix this...
