Helping a newbie.

Hi, I'm a newbie, and I want to get rid of the text that is in the header.
But also, I want that when someone clicks on the header, this will take him to the main page.

Hi!
To achieve this, you will need to edit the index.tpl template file of the template directory you are using. If there's no such file, you can copy over the templates/default/index.tpl file.
Inside that file, search for "serendipity_banner", this is where you can remove the HTML text and instead add an image you can link to/on.

Hello, I have been using the serendipity format for a while now, but I wanted to upgrade. The only problem is, I am an old idiot. I have no idea of what to do. Is there a tutor that dumbs it down for a four year old?

I'm note sure what you want to do - do you want to modify your own theme, like Momotsuki?
