Help!

I'm not sure what's happened, but I'm having some issues. I'll try to describe everything as well as I can.

I wrote a fairly lengthy post in draft mode. It is not "continued". I used the new line key to separate lines between paragraphs. I added a couple meta tags to it. I marked it as a sticky post. I did NOT disable any mark-ups. In preview mode it looks perfect. When I clicked save(draft) it was saved and I was prompted for submitting site maps, etc.

I changed the status to publish. I clicked save, and I got the message "this may take awhile" (I had all the default pinging services checked). Previously I would see stuff happening in the status box, but not this time. The page eventually refreshed, and I assumed it was done although there was no completion "message" and there was no reminder about site maps.

I looked at the new blog entry. There were NO line breaks. I figured something strange happened. I re-edited the entry and put some "break" tags in to see if that would fix it. After saving it again, there were still no line breaks. And, I noticed the sticky post box was now unchecked.

I visited the plug-in page - NLBR was still there and it was activated. I Reviewed the other mark-up plugins, and they seemed to be fine.

As a last resort, I switched from Firefox to IE7. I again edited the post. Everthing looked fine there as well. When I clicked save I got the same "this will take awhile" message. After several minutes, the page refreshed, and this time there was a message in the status box: "Navigation to the webpage was canceled".

What next? Is there a log I can look at that will point me in the right direction? Are some of my plug-ins possibly conflicting? Point me in the right direction please.

Hi!

What hyperlinks do you have in your posting? It might be that some trackbacks are failing there. Also try to save the entry without pinging any services.

Also please tell us the URL to that article? Would help to look at it how the HTML output looks like.

Regards,
Garvin

Hi!

I saw you posted a new thread with your solution. Please try to avoid new topics and instead reply to existing ones to keep everything in order :)
