Plugin-Administration

Hello,

I'm not sure if it's a bug or a feature, but I think I have problems with my plugin-administration since I updated to S9Y-1.2beta1.

1.) When I want to look for updates I can't see the update buttons anymore.

2.) I wanted to install the gravatar-plugin, but I can't find it, wether at the sidebar-plugins nor at the event-plugins.

I'm using PHP 4.4.7.

Hi!

Is the spartacus plugin still active? Does it give you messages which indicate that it is fetching XML update files?

Ah! I had to enable the use of Spartacus for fetching plugins. This seems to be a new option!?

Now it works again! :D

Oh! This posting made my day! ^^

But it's very irritating if a feature that once was switched on per default is now disabled w/o notice.

Hi!

It's a new option, but by default it should be enabled! So you must have accidentaly siwtched it of.

The field "Enable the use of Spartacus for fetching plugins? " is blank in my s9y setup.

This might explain why i'm also not seeing updates etc.

Hi!

Doh. You're right, the default was set wrong :(

I fixed that for the next version.
