Hello Everyone

I was wondering if anyone could help with my problem. Basically, I want to create a static page that contains nothing but a google map or a yahoo map or a google calendar. Basically, a static page with some code on it.

I have created the static page, but I was wondering if there is some kind of tag I have ot surround my code in to get it to run.

I have installed the TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor, which gave me some trouble when I was working with the html nugget sidebar plugin, but the tricks that worked for the html nugget sidebar plugin are not working for the static page.

Any help would be greatly appriciated. Also, I noticed RobA's WrapURL plugin. do you think that plugin might do what I am trying?

Thanks again,
Ben

What exactly is the problem?

I'd definitely try without the WYSIWYG editor; that's only a problem when you enter the text initially, though, so you can turn it off temporarily while you make the nugget and then turn it back on.

If you're using any Javascript, you'll need to put it in a HTML Page Nugget, and assign it to the header position.

Finally, remember to escape any characters you want printed (like > and &).

Then also install the static page sidebar plugin, this offers links to your pages on your home page. :)

Where is that plugin located? I find two entries for the static page plugin, but none for the sidebar.

Hi michele

you should install both of the plugins - and it's the static page event plugin that adds the sidebar link menu.

The two plugins I see have the same name; are they two different plug ins?

I just installed the static pages plug-in and created a test "about" page. The problem is that I don't see a link to the page on my weblog, although I did have the radio button configured correctly to put a link on my sidebar. I checked my SQL database, and the information for the page has been saved there. Am I missing something?

Did you also install the static pages sidebar plugin? (Boy, I hope I got it right this time.) It displays static pages on the sidebar.
