The only special chars I'm using are * and ! I'll change my password and see what happens.

Unfortunately I get the same results using a password that has only letters and numbers.

Hi!

That's strange, when I use your XML input data on my system, it works.

How did you upgrade the plugin? Can you download it from

http://spartacus.s9y.org/cvs/additional ... xmlrpc.zip

and overwrite your files and try again?

Especially pay attention to the subdirectory tree of the plugin files...

Regards,
Garvin

at one point I deleted the Rpc tree and got it again through Spartacus but I'll try again.

should I point blogdesk at the root php file or the one in the plugin directory?

Hi!

Always point blogdesk at the root php file! Also make sure the xmlrpc plugin is only listed once in your s9y plugin overview!

Garvin

*Sigh*

All done with the same results.

Time to give up?

Hi!

Hm, quite strange. Other XML-RPC applications work fine, I've read in a parallel thread?

Then it must be something about your blogdesk installation - is there maybe another version available you could use?

Garvin

it must be blogdesk. Windows live writer (the latest beta) works fine, so I'll use that for the time being. Thanks for your help.
