Hi!

The groups and author_groups tables look properly! But you seem to have missed the authors.jpg screenshot, it'S the same as author_groups!

Garvin

Hi!

Hm, that row does look okay. What did you enter as the password? Then I can see if the md5 checksum that's listed there is the proper one.

You might want to use this:

"b2f7d28f741d8a6094cec4a68213375b"

that's the MD5 hash for the password "kerry".

You know, I have only have this one up for a week or two...Would it just be easier to save the entries and uninstall reinstall it? I use it on another couple sites and it has worked well for years...

Hi!

Okay, your md5 hash with 'children' was proper there.

So when you logged in via username "kerry" and password "children", your blog told you that your password was invalid?

Is there a chance that you might have edited a second database instead of the database that your blog is using?

Reinstallation might be an option, yes. In that case you'd backup the SQL database and files first, then remove the folder and re-upload the serendipity installation files. Then install serenipity using the xperrt installation and set a database prefix like "serendipity2_" instead of "serendipity". That will then install s9y into a second table structure, leaving your old one in tact.

Then you will only need to copy the contents of the serendipity_entries DB table to your serendipity2_entries table...
