Hi!

So you can log in now? Which URL do you use now?

Did you change any settings in the serendipity configuration, like the "URL Rewriting" option? Or did you maybe change/delete your .htaccess file? What do you get if you call the old admin link?

I'm having trouble following you if you reply so tense. :)

Best regards,
Garvin

Hi!

You should not have deleted the .htaccess file. :-)

You must restore your htaccess file from a backup. Serendipity needs it to support "pretty URLs"!

Or you call the admin URL via serendipity_admin.php and then set URL rewriting to "none", save, go to the configuration again and set URL rewriting to "mod_rewrite" again, or whatever you had it before. that should recreate the .htaccess!

Best regards,
Garvin

i think there is a problem where the link is not going to any virtual addresses which follow "?" . it's only working for direct addresses

No, reinstalling shouldn't be needed. Is the .htaccess there again?

What exactly is your URL/Link? "/?/admin" is a completely wrong URL which should never happen :)

Garvin
