Hi!
Do you have entries in your database in the serendipity_exits DB table that correspond to the URL you are tracking?
How does an exit.php link look like of a tracked url? It should include "url_id" and "entry_id" parameters. If it's one large hash, then the link tracking is not properly enabled or not working correctly.
Best regards,
Garvin

Nope, this table is complete empty. The generated links contain only the scrambled url and the entry_id.

Hi!
Tell me your installed event plugins and their version numbers please.
Did you already write a new entry after updating and checked the links you use in there? It might not work for old articles saved using the old s9y version.
Also, what output do you get when you save an entry? Does it finish with "Artikel anzeigen"?
Regards,
Garvin

i tried it. currently an error reporting a violated constraint is being reported while the entry is still being generated, i was just writing a bug report for that but have been interrupted by the phone. (my nerves are down...)

my s9y current version is 200705032342, but i will check out the latest version before reporting this database bug. On evilazrael.de the first entry containing the google link was written using this version, it still contains the scrambled url.

addendum :
This is the list from the Pluginmanager. It´s not so reliable as it should be. Untilt recently the exit tracker didn´t show up in it. i had to remove the line from pluginslist in the database in order to reinstall it.

Hi!
Your bug report in the other thread is the cause for your problem. Let's fix that one.

Garvin

Fine. But may i assume that this is a new bug not related to the old one?

Hi!
The bug you are talking about in this thread is directly related to the bug you reported in the other thread. If we fix the 'other' bug, this bug here should be fixed as well by it.

Garvin

I hope, i don´t bug you, but fixing the constraint problem has not helped getting the exit tracking work. It still keeps creating whose hashed links.
Oh i´ve tested that with the nighty from 2007-05-13.

Hi!
When you now save an entry, does it complete? You should get a link to view the just saved entry; if you don't get that, the process is still failing?

Garvin

Hi!
And pgsql does list no other error reports or so?
Which event plugins in which order and version do you use?

Garvin

The plugin's versions and order are as written in the post before. No updates in the last time.
During the saving of the article no error occurred. But i found some other SQL errors in the PostgreSQL log but they must happened before the last two update. I will check them if they occur again.

Hi!
Hard for me to debug...could you give me temporary s9y user account and FTP or SSH editing privileges on that installation so that I could test things?

Garvin

Kann ich gerne machen. Kannst du dich heute abend über einen Instant Messenger melden, dann richt ich dir alles so ein, wie du es brauchst. Ich glaub, das geht bei direkter Kommunikation besser.
