Hi!
You should best ask technorati support. It does not seem to be s9y related.

Garvin

Well, speaking for me, I use the Andreas08-Template with some adjustments (most notably rel="bookmark" and replacing the feed-rels with one, pointing to feedburner) and the following plugins:
Sidebar:
quicksearch, several html-nuggets, tags, categories, archives, syndicate this blog
Event:
browser compatibility, Spam protector, Spartacus, tagging of entries, nl2br, announce entries, static pages.
Works fine since a few days...dunno if anything of it matters.
call technorati

I had no luck e-mailing technorati support but after I phoned them they sent a message to a tech person who replied within 24 hours and suggested I try removing any recent plugins added to test if that helped and it did.
I have not reinstalled the plugin b/c I don't want to lose the ping ability. For me it was a cost benefit ration. Losting technorati cost more than the benefits of the plugin. I made a compromise even if I'd like to have both.

sasha,
Which plugin was causing the problem?
I've had this problem for several months now.
Any help would be great.

I'm not seeing it in SourceForge's CVS repository, either. And spartacus.s9y.org isn't working, either. Nor can I find anything among my personal listing of event and sidebar plugins.
Hmmm. I wonder which one it really was.

Perhaps "serendipity_event_userprofiles"?
That being said, I never worry too much when technorati fails to crawl my site, because half the time they can't remember by username/password, or what blogs I have claimed, or who has linked to me...
Most of the time I just wait a few days and it is able to crawl my site again...

I deleted all plugins - pinged technorati to claim my site und the solution was - no effect.
technorati is too silly to write usefull parser for blogs with rss feeds and co.

Was there ever a solution with this?
I don't appear to have the offending plug-in installed yet keep getting an error.

my solution was to write a mail to technorati
5 days later they modified their crawler and now everything is working.
technorati or extended authors plugin

my solution was to remove the plugin the extended authors plugin. this is the plugin that among other things will let an administrator edits posts of a specific user or post for them without having to log in as them.
after removing that plugin it has worked perfectly ever since and is still working.
it's a pain now b/c we have some writers on our group blog that send me postings and i have to post for them or edit for them which means logging in as them. yes we can go in and edit from the backend but that is too cumbersome. i realized that technorati was more important for us right now that the plugin. it's a tradeoff i know.
