Yes Garvin, I’ve read. But I’m not happy editing files, because I’m afraid to get in trouble after some S9Y-updates. Or I maybe I can gat in trouble with other side effects with other issues.
My S9Y installation has only been changed from me with stylesheets. That’s really great, because so I don’t have to think about managing change issues of my S9Y installation. That’s the reason I decided against WP or other blogs and nukes. I like the simplicity of S9Y. It is so easy to install, I didn’t wasted time to think about programming, and I didn't had any bigger difficulties. I’m afraid that if I start changing some files this will change. I don’t like this, because if I change something manually, I have to invest in time to learn about the backgrounds, to understand what I’m doing about. Again: Serendipity is in my point of view a great example of opensource software I eveter tested, it is for an example, easier than gallery2, but gallery has great features (and it looks nice too), so I’m interested in a bridge.
Please keep Serendipity as easy as it is. Great work! I hope you understand my reservations against fiddling around on the great S9Y software!
Regards, Benjamin
