Hi!

Would you be able to temporarily try to disable those plugins:

Metainformation Standard 1.0
Validates authors login 1.01

? I am really confused what is happening, it must be mismatching the URL parameters somehow. Is it maybe possible for me to get temporary FTP access to your blog to do some debugging? If so, please contact me via PM...

Best regards,
Garvin

User lost activation e-mail

Hello,
I have two questions concerning the user registrations:

1) When someone registers on my blog using the User Self-Registration plugin and accidentally deletes the e-mail containing the activation URL, is there a way for me as the administrator to re-send this e-mail? Or to get a list of pending accounts and activate them manually?

2) I've installed the Forgot Password plugin but I cannot find a page when the selected user password can be changed without typing the old one. Where exactly should I look at?

Thank you.
Filip

Don't know about #1, but I just checked the Forgot Password plugin, and for #2, you should see an extra link on the login page. It sends an email with a special URL that allows you to enter a new password without regard for the old one. The special page is generated by the plugin; it's not a part of standard S9Y.

Thank you Judebert. #2 works.

Hi!

About #1, there is no graphical way for you to get it. you would need to use phpMyAdmin to see the pending_authors table and get the code from there.

It would be easier if the author registers himself again, with a different username.
