the upgrade i did just as it says. i had no problems with it. I have three blogs, one is the actual blog that i haven't touched yet, the other two are just test blogs that i've used to upgrade to make sure this will work before upgrading my "live" blog.

The first test blog didn't go so well. This was the one that for some reason didn't write the files in the template folder. i deleted that blog. The second test blog went very well. installed the blog, upgrade went perfect.

What you just said was more than likely my problem. I was selecting, "I want to display it as an image" then selecting the target for this link, "Popup window...". I just tried what you had said instead of selecting display as image i selected display as link. This seemed to work great! I have a thumbnail that is clickable just as i wanted.

Now the issue still remains about the "deleting hotlink file". This has happened on both versions, 1.2.1 and 1.3.1. It doesn't happen all of the time and when it does happen the only noticeable thing is that the Thumbnails in the media library are missing. The images that have been placed within the blogs are still there and can still be opened, which should be right because they are only links to the actual picture.

Hm, this seems to be caused by the automatic synchronization. Currently you can try to simply turn it off. Go to your s9y configuration screen, last option set ("Images") and there turn of the "Automatig synchronization" of the MDB...
