Well... perhaps it's embarrassing, but the reason I first came to s9y was that it advertised that it could be embedded. My website was a bunch of static HTML, and I just wanted a "News" page that I didn't have to update by hand. NO other blog promised me that capability; they all wanted to be my one-and-only website.
Of course, before long I found that it was easier to port the whole darn site to s9y, and I've never looked back. I practically use s9y as a CMS.
Anyway, I've got a historical interest in keeping embedding as part of the s9y capabilities. This isn't such a big deal; I'm really good at mass search-and-replace operations. That's how I earned my regex chops.
This is a big weekend for me, though; I'll probably get started on Tuesday or Wednesday.
