Judebert - your latest suggestion does seem to work... however, I noticed that I had introduced my own error yesterday that may have been contributing to the problem.

Do you think your latest suggestion is the best approach, or do you think I should again try one of your earler suggestions?

It's possible the single-line string can work. But I'm not up to fooling around with it right now. You're welcome to poke at it if you like.
